Destiny Community Church exists to house and reflect God’s indwelling, transforming and saving presence in this generation.
DCC’s vision stands on THREE PILLARS, building:
• A house for God: Encountering God
• A legacy community: Embracing Community
• Disciples that TWUD (turn the world upside down): Engage the World

BUILDING A HOUSE FOR GOD

Building a house for God is:
• A call and desire to be a place of His presence: this is about nurturing and growing in the awareness that both as individuals and corporately, we “are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit” (Ephesians 2:22).
• A call and desire to be a house of worship: “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24). “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship”. (Romans 12:1). This is about building a church that ministers to God Himself (Ezekiel 44:15).
• A call and desire to be a house of prayer: “My house shall be called a house of prayer” (Matthew 21:13). Prayer is a point of communion with God; a place where we speak to God, hear Him speak to us and know that He listens to our heart cries and words of our mouth. In prayer we engage God, edify one another and contend with spiritual forces.
• A call and desire to be a place of His voice: Destiny was built on apostolic and prophetic foundation. It is a prophetic church, a “tent of meeting” where the LORD speaks to His people “as one speaks to a friend” (Exodus 33:11).

BUILDING A LEGACY COMMUNITY

We want to grow into a community of faith that does life together. We want to be a welcoming community where people will want to be.
DCC strives to be, not only a community church, but also a church of the community where the LORD has planted her. As a community church we stand as a tightly knit family, fighting battles and celebrating victories together. As a church of the community, we dream to become a true “salt and light” church that impacts its community in a practical way. We seek to reflect the multicultural and multigenerational make up of our city and local community.

BUILDING DISCIPLES THAT TWUD

Destiny Community Church is a missional church, both locally and globally (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19-20). Our desire is to raise radical and passionate disciples who TWUD, turn the world upside down (Acts 17:6).

We are an equipping center that seeks to develop disciples for the work of the ministry: “And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to equip the saints for works of ministry and to build up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-12).

These are disciples who multiply: “You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” (2Timothy 2:2 NLT)
