You had me at "Hello"

Oh, That is the dream. To walk into a new relationship and know “This is the one.” Wouldn’t that be divine. No fuss. No hassle. No testing of true intentions. “What you see, is what you get” would be everyone’s ideal. Unfortunately in our world, there are a lot of fakes and phonies who want what you have rather than wanting who you are.

So when you walk thru the doors at DCC and are greeted with “Hello” by our Connections Team, staff, and attendees, we’re not trying to “get you”. We are simply letting God love us as His children and allowing that same love to overflow to our guests. That’s our aim. In any relationship whether it is between friends, family, or organization, we know that love must be consistent over time before trust and commitment are earned. We want to live lives of love every minute of everyday. That’s our goal at Destiny.

When we shake hands or embrace you with a hug, it is out of what God has done in our hearts that cannot be contained within. We want to give Him to you! We are in an infectious love relationship with the One who gave His life for us. We apologize in advance if it seems overwhelming at first. We can’t help it. Jesus is just so GOOD!

So, back to the beginning. Can we be sure of pure, unadulterated love from the beginning of a relationship? There were twelve disciples over 2000 years ago who would definitely say, “Yes!” They met a man who was totally connected to God and His love flowed profusely from every pore of His being. That’s what we aspire to become and hope you will experience from us at Destiny Community Church when we say, “Hello”
